I know a lot of people complain about the fact holiday items hit the stores earlier and earlier every year, but doesn't that just mean we get to enjoy the "most wonderful time of the year" a little longer?

Now I will say October 27th does seem slightly premature since we haven't even gotten through Halloween yet, but I find it really hard to complain when holiday makeup kits like this hit the stores.

I was walking through Nordstrom this week and I noticed that MAC already has some of their holiday makeup kits on the shelves. I picked up two of them because the deals were too good to pass up. I will share the other with you soon, but this one I cannot get enough of. It's the Snow Ball Eye Compact kit and it comes in three options. (Rose Gold, Gold and Silver) $29 each.

Inside each pallet, there are six eyeshadow pigments and a two-sided makeup brush. Good luck picking your favorite because they are all gorgeous!

Fall Balayage

I got a new look and it is a welcome change!

I've been saying this a lot lately but " you know you're a Mom when" and my "Mom" moment as of late was looking in the mirror and realizing that I hadn't had my hair done in months.

I embarrassingly caught a glimpse of what I thought was a Halloween wig for a witch staring back at me. Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but take my word for it, my grays were showing.

I could not get to my hair appointment fast enough, although when I got there I still wasn't quite sure what I wanted done. I was toying between going red and the caramel/blonde balayage that I ended up with!

I have to say, I think I made the right decision especially for fall!
